Victoria Wan is an associate in the Data & Technology Transactions Practice in Latham & Watkins’ London office.
Victoria advises EU and global clients across all market sectors on global data privacy and cybersecurity matters. She has particular experience advising on European data privacy legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Victoria also represents clients and assists deal teams in M&A transactions in relation to commercial contracts and intellectual property.
Victoria trained in the firm’s London office, gaining experience in leveraged finance, benefits and compensation, and capital markets in addition to data and technology. Victoria is an active member of Latham’s First Generation Professionals Group.

A significant social media company in matters before international regulatory bodies in connection with data breaches and other issues relating to privacy and security
A leading global accountancy and consultancy firm on its global privacy impact assessment (PIA) process to minimize privacy and security risks, and achieve compliance with global information laws for new systems and tools
Various clients on intellectual property matters throughout the life cycle of M&A transactions, from conducting due diligence to integration
Various clients in connection with GDPR compliance, data protection gap analysis, and data protection policies
BC Partners on IP, contracts, data protection, and regulatory matters related to the acquisition of a majority interest in Synthon International Holding B.V., a global market leader in the development of complex generics
Various pharmaceutical and medical technology companies on various agreements for the conduct of clinical trials in the EU, including GDPR compliance aspects of such trials
