Wendy Gu is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.
Wendy represents clients in white collar defense and investigations, as well as complex commercial, antitrust, and securities litigation.
Wendy maintains an active pro bono practice, including assisting immigrant victims of domestic violence in obtaining the protections and benefits of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and other laws.
Prior to joining Latham full-time, Wendy was a summer associate in the New York office. She also served as a law clerk in the Office of Immigration Litigation – Appellate Section at the US Department of Justice.
Wendy received her JD, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, where she served as the senior development and diversity editor of The Georgetown Law Journal. While in law school, Wendy also served as a Law Fellow for the Legal Research and Writing Program, a student attorney in the Civil Rights Clinic, and an executive board member of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.
Prior to law school, Wendy earned her AB in public and international affairs from Princeton University and worked as a management consultant.
