Will Davidson is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.

Will represents a variety of sponsors, financial institutions, and developers in connection with project financings, acquisition financings, corporate debt financings, and other energy and infrastructure-related secured lending and tax equity transactions. 

Will was previously an associate to the Honorable Justice Robson at the Supreme Court of Victoria.

Will’s experience includes advising: 

  • Terra-Gen Power in respect of the syndicated debt and tax equity project financing of an approximately 148 MW (ac) photovoltaic solar generating facility (Edwards Sanborn 1C) located in Mojave, California
  • Ørsted in relation to the development of the 250 MW Badger Wind project in McIntosh Counties, North Dakota
  • Ares Capital in respect of its financing of the acquisition of exclusive rights to lease, operate, and manage more than 6,300 wireless communications towers across all 50 States from subsidiaries of Verizon for approximately US$3.3 billion by Vertical Bridge REIT, LLC
  • Calpine Corporation in respect of the over US$1 billion syndicated debt project financing for the development and construction of a 680 MW BESS project in Menifee, Riverside County, California*
  • Société General as lender in project financing of fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network in Colorado and Minnesota with a Brookfield sponsored project company*
  • BNP Paribas, Wells Fargo, Rabobank, NordLB, NBC – Acted for BNP Paribas as lender and a syndicate of lenders in respect of the amendment and upsizing of two existing facilities for solar portfolios in North Carolina and Oregon owned by Cypress Creek Renewables. The two facilities commitments totaled over US$200 million. The aggregate capacity size of the projects is over 200 MW*
