Will Yao is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation Practice.

Mr. Yao maintains an active pro bono practice, representing veterans with disabilities and individuals seeking asylum.

While in law school, Mr. Yao served as a submissions manager for the Harvard Journal of Law & Technology and was a judicial intern for Magistrate Judge Sherry R. Fallon in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Yao received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Union College.
