• BPEA EQT Funds V and VI and portfolio company Vistra (BPEA EQT) on the merger of Vistra with Tricor, an existing BPEA EQT Fund VIII portfolio company, in a transaction that values the combined company at an enterprise value of US$6.5 billion. This transaction was awarded the Private Equity Exit of the Year (Large Cap) at AVCJ Private Equity & Venture Capital Awards 2023
• China Jinmao Holdings Group on its privatization, by way of a scheme of arrangement, of China VAST Industrial Urban Development Company, a previously Hong Kong-listed property developer focused on planning, developing, and operating industrial towns in China
• Tianqi Lithium Corporation, a leading global lithium producer, on its HK$13.5 billion (US$1.7 billion) H-share initial public offering on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. This transaction was awarded Capital Markets Deal of the Year 2022 by Chinese Business Law Journal
• Hong Kong Airlines on the holistic restructuring of its US$6.2 billion debts and liabilities, including its guarantee of the US$683 million perpetual securities issued by Blue Skyview. This restructuring involves the first ever parallel Hong Kong scheme of arrangement and UK restructuring plan. This transaction was awarded Cross-border Deal of the Year 2022 by China Business Law Journal
• Huachen Energy, a private thermal power generator in China, on its US$500 million bond restructuring, including interactions with the onshore restructuring undertaken by its PRC parent, Wintime Group and the first-ever US chapter 15 recognition of a PRC bankruptcy reorganization plan
• Pearl Holding III Limited, a sponsor-backed manufacturer and distributor of precision plastic injection moulds, on its restructuring of US$175 million senior secured notes due 2022, through a Cayman scheme of arrangement in conjunction with a refinancing of its senior secured revolving credit facility
