Zoe Wang is an associate in the Singapore office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Corporate Department.
Zoe focuses on a variety of corporate matters, including data privacy, telecommunications and regulatory matters, and technology transactions.
Prior to working in Latham, Zoe worked for a leading telecommunications, media, and technology (TMT) practice in Singapore where she focused on data privacy and other regulatory matters. She was also seconded to the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) where she assisted the PDPC with legal issues, and assisted with overseeing investigations and enforcement actions.
Alongside data privacy, Zoe also has experience advising clients on regulatory compliance issues relating to telecommunications, information technology, payments, and consumer protection. She also has experience in corporate / commercial work, e.g., relating to M&A transactions.

A global technology company on its global privacy compliance program for its product launches, including cloud services, social media communications and gaming products, with a focus on GDPR, and data protection compliance in Asia, as well as advising on the company’s telecommunications and payments regulatory compliance for various product offerings
A global technology company on telecommunications licensing requirements and regulatory risks on the offering of over IDC
A variety of private equity clients on data privacy and intellectual property issues arising in the context of private equity and merger and acquisition transactions
A variety of clients with audits on their data protection, cybersecurity policies and practices for compliance with Singapore data protection laws, and for the purpose of applying for Singapore’s Data Protection Trustmark
A variety of clients who have experienced large scale data breaches on responding to the breach and assisting with regulator engagement
Global technology companies seeking to launch or provide certain services on compliance with Singapore laws, including those relating to telecommunications and media, cybersecurity, intellectual property, consumer protection, and payment services
