Latham Advises ComplyAdvantage in US$50 Million Series C Raise
Latham & Watkins advised ComplyAdvantage, a British technology start-up which uses artificial intelligence (AI) to detect financial crime, in its Series C funding round which raised US$50 million.
ComplyAdvantage uses machine learning and natural language processing to help banks carry out sanction screening checks and to examine transactions for any companies or individuals on watch lists.
Latham’s team was led by London corporate partner Shing Lo, with associates Terry Charalambous and Janine Leeder.
