Leakhena Mom represents private equity firms, investment banks, and public and private companies in debt financings and related transactions.

Leakhena takes a holistic approach to help clients achieve their goals relating to:

  • Corporate finance
  • Securities regulation
  • Liability management transactions
  • General securities and corporate matters

She leverages trusted client relationships and collaboration across the Latham’s robust platform to devise solutions involving complex capital structures. Leakhena negotiates debt agreements that ensure clients have the commercial flexibility to operate.

Leakhena maintains an active pro bono practice and currently serves as a member of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee. Her recent pro bono work includes securing green cards for Honduran siblings through Latham’s relationship with KIND.

She formerly served on the Women Enriching Business (WEB) Committee, which promotes women in business both inside and outside the firm.

  • The Carlyle Group on numerous acquisition financings and securities offerings, including in the acquisitions of Novolex, Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, and Axalta
  • Cinven on the senior secured second lien notes offering to finance the acquisition of Jaggaer
  • GTCR and AssuredPartners on its offering of senior notes
  • KKR on financing the acquisition of Capital Safety
