Mark Morris represents private equity sponsors and corporate issuers in complex debt finance transactions.

Mark approaches each matter with pragmatism and a solutions-oriented mindset to help clients navigate US and cross-border debt transactions, including:

  • Leveraged buyouts
  • Unitranche and direct lender financings
  • Senior secured first and second lien facilities
  • Asset-based loans (ABL)
  • Liability management transactions

He anticipates clients’ needs before they arise and collaborates across the firm’s global platform to connect clients with Latham’s full-service capabilities. Mark leverages extensive experience with distressed debtor situations to implement liquidity solutions, covenant risk management, and debt restructurings. He also advises public companies on a wide range of finance transactions.

A recognized leader at the firm, Mark has served on the Mentoring Committee and the Recruiting Committee.

He maintains an active pro bono practice, including representing asylees and families with regard to adoption matters.

Mark previously practiced in the firm’s Dubai office, as well as at an international Magic Circle firm in Paris and London.
