Two Latham Lawyers Named to Financial News’ Fifty Most Influential Lawyers List

Financial News has named Latham partners Alexandra Hagelüken and David Walker to its second annual Fifty Most Influential Lawyers list. The list profiles 50 individuals who have made a lasting impact in the European legal industry. 

Hagelüken is one of Germany’s leading banking and finance lawyers and has played a key role in developing the firm’s market-leading finance practice. Her recent work includes advising a bank consortium on state-owned development bank KfW’s providing credit lines for TUI Group in one of the first bridging loans under a government initiative to provide support through the pandemic. 

David Walker serves as Vice Chair of Latham’s Global Corporate Department. A renowned European private equity lawyer, he has acted as a leading figure in the buyouts market for more than two decades. His recent work includes advising Silver Lake on its €12.3 billion minority investment into vet care provider IVC Evidensia Group and Hellman & Friedman on its €21 billion investment in Belron.
