Eight Latham Attorneys Named 2024 Rising Stars

Eight exceptional Latham attorneys with notable achievements in transactional, litigation, and regulatory areas have been named 2024 Rising Stars by Law360, which selected winners based on career accomplishments in their respective disciplines.

The 2024 Latham honorees are:

  • Parag Patel, a corporate partner in the Emerging Companies & Growth Practice, honored in the Fintech category. Based in Washington, D.C., he advises financial services companies, banks, financial institutions, and fintech clients on transactional and regulatory matters, with a particular focus on payments, banking, digital assets and cryptocurrency, and consumer and small-business lending.
  • Oliver Prakash-Jenkins, a corporate partner in the Investment Funds Practice, named in the Fund Formation category. Based in New York, he represents private capital sponsors, particularly infrastructure, buyout, and credit sponsors, on the full spectrum of their formation, investment, and operational activities across a range of strategies, including on sophisticated secondaries transactions.

Based in New York and Los Angeles, she represents issuers and underwriters in notable equity and debt offerings across various industries, particularly in the technology, consumer retail, and healthcare sectors.
  • Whitney Weber, a litigation and trial partner in the Securities Litigation & Professional Liability Practice, named in the Technology category. Based in the Bay Area, she represents industry-leading companies and their executives in high-profile securities litigation and technology-related cases.
