Latham & Watkins Advises Ardian on Acquisition of Hameur

Latham & Watkins has advised Ardian, a world-leading private investment house, on its entrance into exclusive negotiations to acquire French appliance group Hameur, owner of Magimix, a global leading manufacturer of kitchen appliances in France since 1963 and Robot Coupe, a manufacturer of food preparation professional equipment in France since 1961.

The Latham team was led from Paris by partner Gaëtan Gianasso, with associates Michael Colle and Aymeric Derrien-Akagawa. Advice was also provided on tax matters by partner Xavier Renard, on finance matters by partners Xavier Farde and Carla-Sophie Imperadeiro, on employment law matters by partner Matthias Rubner; on antitrust matters by partner Adrien Giraud; and on IP and commercial contracts matters by partner Jean-Luc Juhan.
