Latham & Watkins Advises on BKV Corporation’s Initial Public Offering

Texas-based capital markets team represents the underwriters in the offering by the natural gas producer.

BKV Corporation (BKV), a Denver-based natural gas production company, has announced the pricing of its initial public offering (IPO) of 15,000,000 shares of common stock at a price to the public of US$18.00 per share, raising net proceeds of US$253.8 million which will be used by BKV to repay certain indebtedness, with the remainder of the net proceeds to be used for growth capital expenditures and other general corporate purposes. BKV has also granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 2,250,000 shares of its common stock. BKV’s common stock has been approved for listing on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “BKV” and will begin trading on September 26, 2024. The IPO is expected to close on September 27, 2024, subject to the satisfaction or waiver of customary closing conditions.
