Firm Receives Pro Bono Leadership Award
Latham was honored by Texas Appleseed for the firm’s commitment to pro bono efforts.
Since opening its doors in 2010, Latham’s Houston office quickly established itself as a powerhouse in Texas’ energy and infrastructure industry by combining local market know-how with the resources of an elite global law firm.
The practices of our 100-lawyer strong office rank among the state’s best in finance, capital markets, M&A, environmental, restructuring, and tax. Serving clients active in nearly every subsector of the energy and infrastructure value chain from traditional oil and gas to renewables and infrastructure, we regularly advise on many of the industry’s largest and most consequential transactions.
Pro bono and community service are fundamental parts of our culture, including in Houston, where we collaborate with many local charitable organizations. Our pro bono work includes advocating on issues of racial justice and human trafficking, serving for many years as a work-study sponsor of Cristo Rey Jesuit College Preparatory school, and working with local legal aid organizations to assist with asylum, immigration, estate and end-of-life planning matters.
