Latham & Watkins Advises Leading Semiconductor Technology Investor Maverick Silicon in Series B Funding for Baya Systems
Baya Systems, a leader in system IP technology that empowers the acceleration of intelligent compute, has announced it has raised over US$36 million in a Series B round led by Maverick Silicon. The round was backed by a strategic investment from Synopsys, with current investors including Matrix Partners and Intel Capital reinvesting into the company. The funding will support operational growth and accelerate the development and deployment of Baya Systems’ software-driven system IP technology portfolio for system-on-chip (SoC) designs and the emerging chiplet economy.
Latham & Watkins LLP represents Maverick Silicon in the transaction with a deal team led by partners John Miller and Haim Zaltzman with associates Pat Argenio and Jihoo Kim. Advice was also provided on intellectual property and data privacy matters by partner Michelle Gross, with associates Azzam Chaudhry and Zac Alpert.
