Latham & Watkins Advises Energy Transfer in US$3 Billion Senior Notes Offering

Houston-based team represents the energy company in the offering.

Energy Transfer LP (NYSE: ET) has announced the pricing of its public offering of US$650 million aggregate principal amount of 5.200% senior notes due 2030, US$1.250 billion aggregate principal amount of 5.700% senior notes due 2035 and US$1.100 billion aggregate principal amount of 6.200% senior notes due 2055 at prices to the public of 99.796%, 99.872% and 99.398%, respectively, of their face value.

Latham & Watkins LLP advised Energy Transfer in the offering with a corporate team led by Houston partners Kevin Richardson and Samuel Rettew, with associates Brian Bruzzo, Carol Bale, and Logan McDowell. Advice was also provided on tax matters by Houston partners Tim Fenn and Bryant Lee, with associate Dylan White; and on environmental matters by Los Angeles/Houston partner Joshua Marnitz, with associate Jacqueline Zhang.
