Latham Advises on Financing for T-Mobile and EQT’s Joint Venture to Acquire Lumos

Cross-border infrastructure team represents the lenders of US$1.8 billion facilities in support of the acquisition.

Latham & Watkins has advised the lenders on US$1.8 billion facilities in support of the acquisition by T-Mobile and EQT, in a joint venture with EQT’s Infrastructure VI fund, of fiber-to-the-home platform Lumos. T-Mobile’s scalable broadband and wireless growth engine, combined with EQT’s infrastructure expertise, will leverage Lumos’ fiber platform to deliver broadband services to more Americans.

The Latham team was led by London partner Conrad Andersen, New York partner Warren Lilien, and London counsel Amanda Fortuna; with associates James Jang-Hyun-Lim, Donna Chen, Chidi Onyeche, Annique Sherelle Roberts, Sharon Ho, Abigail Keyes, Diana Duan, and Robin Marie Spiess.
