Latham & Watkins Advises Artisan Design Group in Sale to Lowe’s

Multidisciplinary team represents the provider of design, distribution, and installation services for interior finishes to home builders and property managers in the transaction.

The Sterling Group, a middle market private equity firm, has announced that it has agreed to sell Artisan Design Group (ADG) to Lowe’s Companies, Inc. (NYSE: LOW) for US$1.325 billion. ADG is a leading nationwide provider of design, distribution, and installation services for interior surface finishes, including flooring, cabinets, and countertops, to national, regional, and local homebuilders and property managers.

Latham & Watkins LLP advised Artisan Design Group, a portfolio company of The Sterling Group, in the transaction with a corporate deal team led by Houston partners Scott Miller and Bruce Herzog, with associates Vera Bespalova, Morgen Seim, Caroline Silverstein, and Jennifer Pitsch.
