Latham & Watkins Advises INEOS Energy in Completed Acquisition of CNOOC’s US Gulf Oil and Gas Business
INEOS Energy announced that it has closed the acquisition of the US Gulf business held by CNOOC Energy Holdings U.S.A. Inc., a US subsidiary of CNOOC International Limited. The acquisition increases INEOS capital spend on energy assets in the U.S.A. to above US$3 billion. Additionally, the deal increases INEOS Energy’s global production to over 90,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
