Latham & Watkins Advises X2 Resources in Obtaining Equity Commitments From EnCap Investments, Westlawn Group, and Rice Investment Group

X2 Resources, LLC has announced it has secured an equity capital commitment from EnCap Investments L.P., Westlaw Group LLC, Rice Investment Group, and its management team, to pursue the acquisition and development of operated oil and natural gas assets.
Latham & Watkins LLP represented management in the transaction, with a corporate deal team led by Houston partner James Garrett and associate John Daywalt, with associates Eugenio Ascanio Carrera and Harrison Little. Advice was also provided on tax matters by Houston partner Jim Cole; and on executive compensation matters by Washington, D.C. partner Adam Kestenbaum.
