“Influential Women” Report Features Two San Diego Partners
The Daily Transcript has profiled partners Nadia Sager and Stephanie Kuhlen in the publication’s inaugural “Influential Women” report highlighting “the most influential women in San Diego County, and the impact they're making across the region.”
Sager, who chairs the firm’s global Diversity Leadership Committee and the San Diego Corporate Department, earned recognition both for her practice work focused on investment funds and for her leadership promoting diversity in the legal and business communities. Her published profile noted Sager’s efforts to create Latham’s Diversity Leadership Committee and to spearhead initiatives such as the firm’s annual diversity leadership academy and a range of affinity groups, with the aim of “bolstering the success of those traditionally underrepresented in the legal field.” Her profile also highlighted Sager’s market-leading practice in which she “represents private fund sponsors and investors as they maneuver the regulatory complexities of forming, investing in and operating private investment vehicles.”
Kuhlen earned recognition for her broad experience in real estate finance, as well as for her involvement in community service. Kuhlen’s profile detailed her professional accomplishments and highlighted her advice on the recent acquisition and financing of multiple photovoltaic solar facilities in Imperial County, CA as “one of the most complicated real estate transactions she has completed” in her practice, which focuses on renewable energy, gaming hotel development and management, and health care. Her profile also cited Kuhlen’s involvement in community organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County and Girl Scouts of San Diego.
