Latham Advises Ardian on the Launch of a Continuation Fund for Syclef

Latham & Watkins has advised Ardian, a world-leading private investment house, on the launch of a newly formed Continuation Fund for Syclef, previously held by Ardian Expansion Fund V.

This fund will be managed by Ardian and capitalized by Eurazeo as senior lead investor and Astorg as co-lead investor.

Syclef, a leading European firm, specializes in medium to large-scale refrigeration installations. Their expertise spans industrial refrigeration (logistics platforms, storage warehouses, food processing, industrial processes), as well as commercial refrigeration (supermarkets, convenience stores), and air-conditioning systems.

Ardian will support the company's next phase of growth, enabling Syclef to further pursue its international expansion, support the refrigeration and air conditioning industries in transitioning to more efficient natural fluids, allowing Syclef’s clients to improve their energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

The Latham team was led by Paris corporate partner Olivier du Mottay, with associate Louise Gurly, and by finance partners Xavier Farde and Carla-Sophie Imperadeiro.
