Latham & Watkins Advises FPV Ventures in US$450 Million Debut Fund Formation

FPV Ventures (FPV) has announced the final closing of its debut venture capital fund, FPV Fund I, L.P., with aggregate commitments of US$450 million. FPV is an early-stage venture capital fund led by Wesley Chan and Pegah Ebrahimi to back and serve mission-driven founders.
Latham & Watkins LLP advised FPV in the transaction with an Investment Funds Practice team led by New York partner Matthew Chase, with associates Connor Ross and Alec Shapiro. Advice was also provided on tax matters by New York partner Gregory Hannibal, with associate Lauren Bewley, and on regulatory matters by Chicago partner Laura Ferrell, with associate Hane Kim.
