Latham & Watkins Advises INEOS Energy in Acquisition of US Gulf of Mexico Business
INEOS Energy has announced the acquisition of the US Gulf of Mexico business held by CNOOC Energy Holdings U.S.A. Inc., a US subsidiary of CNOOC International Limited. The acquisition includes a portfolio of non-operated upstream oil and gas assets and is expected to increase INEOS Energy’s production globally to over 90,000 barrels of oil per day. The transaction is subject to the receipt of regulatory approvals and satisfaction of other customary closing conditions.
