Latham Advises Northern Fiber Holding and UBS Asset Management on Purchase of Fiber Network From VX Fiber and Customers of Lila Connect

Transaction enables NFH’s continued expansion in the Northern German fiber optic market.
Latham & Watkins has advised Northern Fiber Holding GmbH (NFH), the German fiber portfolio company of UBS Asset Management, and UBS Asset Management on the acquisition of the passive fiber network of VX Fiber GmbH and the customers of Lila Connect GmbH in Wolfenbüttel. The transaction builds on NFH’s successful ongoing expansion previously already including – amongst others – the acquisition of Lünecom, sewikom, and sewikom Netzbau.
The Latham team was led by Frankfurt infrastructure M&A partner Alexander Stefan Rieger and associate Pascal Wagenfuehr. Advice on corporate matters was also provided by Frankfurt partner Leif Schrader; and on employment matters by Munich counsel Florian Dehmel and associate Christian Strauß.
