Latham & Watkins Advises TeamViewer on SE Conversion

Latham & Watkins has advised the MDAX-listed TeamViewer AG, headquartered in Göppingen, Germany, on its conversion into a European stock corporation (Societas Europaea, SE). The company now operates under the name TeamViewer SE and continues to have a dualistic management system with a management board and a supervisory board. The conversion was approved in the Annual General Meeting on May 17, 2022 and became effective through registration in the Commercial Register on March 15, 2023.

The mandate comprised both corporate law advice on the conversion, including the 2022 annual general meeting, as well as legal advice on the employee involvement procedure in various European countries and assistance in negotiations with the special negotiating body of the employees.
