Latham Expands Private Equity Practice in Houston With Preeminent Practitioner
Latham & Watkins LLP1 is pleased to announce that Bruce C. Herzog has joined the firm’s Houston office as a partner in the Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions Practices and a member of the Corporate Department.
Mr. Herzog advises private equity funds and portfolio companies on leveraged buyouts, growth and early stage capital investments, equity line arrangements, mergers and acquisitions, and complex partnership structures. He also regularly advises on fund formation, fund governance, and fund economic arrangements. Mr. Herzog focuses on the industrial, manufacturing, distribution, energy and telecommunications industries.

The addition of Mr. Herzog is part of Latham’s ongoing expansion of the firm’s private equity capabilities in Houston, which includes the arrivals of Trina Chandler, Ravi Purohit, and James Garrett, who joined the firm in 2021. He is the third partner to join Latham’s M&A and Private Equity Practices in the US in 2022. The firm announced the arrivals of Caroline Blitzer Phillips and Jason Webber to the New York office in January and February, respectively.
Mr. Herzog received his JD from the University of Texas School of Law and his BA from Yale University. He joins Latham from Willkie Farr & Gallagher.
