Latham & Watkins Advises Amber Energy in Acquisition of CITGO

Amber Energy Inc. (Amber Energy), a US-based group of accomplished energy executives with a track record of improving performance and accelerating growth at companies across the industry, has announced that it has been selected as the acquirer of PDV Holding, Inc., the parent of CITGO Petroleum Corporation (CITGO or the Company), by Robert Pincus, the Special Master appointed by the United States District Court for the District of Delaware to oversee the sale of PDV Holding, Inc. Amber Energy is backed by a group of strategic US energy investors, including Elliott Investment Management L.P.
