Latham & Watkins Advises BayWa on €60 Million Hybrid Bond

German team advises the globally active company on the transaction.
Latham & Watkins has advised BayWa AG (BayWa), a globally active company with core segments of energy, agriculture and construction, as well as the development of segment innovation & digitalisation, on the issuance of a hybrid bond with a total volume of €60 million. The bond comprises perpetual resettable subordinated notes with a fixed interest rate of 7.75% per annum.
Latham & Watkins regularly advises BayWa on transactions, recently advising on the ESG-linked syndicated financing of €1.7 billion in 2021.
