Latham & Watkins Advises Anvil Channel Energy Solutions in Direct Loan to Certus Oil & Gas

A Houston-based team advised the private direct lender in the cross-border transaction.
Anvil Channel Energy Solutions has announced the close of a senior secured loan facility to Certus Oil & Gas, Inc., supporting the acquisition of producing assets in central Alberta. This transaction marks the first cross-border transaction undertaken by the new Anvil Channel direct energy lending initiative.
Latham & Watkins LLP represented Anvil Channel Energy Solutions in the transaction with a Houston-based deal team led by partner Catherine Ozdogan, associate Benjamin Gelfand, and partner Justin Stolte, with associates Matthew Snodgrass and Michael Basist.
