Latham & Watkins Advises Evertec in Acquisition of GranData
EVERTEC, Inc. (Evertec), a leading full-service transaction processor and financial technology provider in Latin America, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean, has announced it has closed its acquisition of GranData, a venture-backed data analytics company operating in Mexico that specializes in leveraging behavioral data to provide credit risk insights with a focus on underbanked populations.
Latham & Watkins LLP represents Evertec in the transaction with a corporate deal team led by New York partners Eli Curi and Tony Del Pino, with associates Andres Medina-Jordan, Jordan Wampler, and María del Pilar Villanueva.
