Latham & Watkins Advises InfraRed and Nexspace on Market Entry in Austria

German infrastructure M&A team supports the data center platform in the transaction.

Latham & Watkins LLP has advised infrastructure investor InfraRed Capital Partners (InfraRed), and its portfolio company Nexspace, a developer and operator of modern, sustainable data centers in the DACH region, on their market entry into Austria through the acquisition of a data center development site in Graz. InfraRed and Nexspace plan to strategically expand the site in Graz to meet the increasing demand for computing power in the region. The transaction follows Nexspace's successful market entry into Germany in 2023, which was also supported by the same Latham team.

The Latham team was led by Frankfurt M&A/Infrastructure partner Alexander Stefan Rieger with associate Pascal Wagenführ and associates Johannes Gross and Janina Fey.
