Latham & Watkins Advises Post Oak Energy Capital in Its Equity Commitment to Ichthys Energy

Post Oak Energy Capital, LP (Post Oak) has announced the closing of an equity commitment to Ichthys Energy Partners, LLC (Ichthys) from investment funds managed by Post Oak. Ichthys is an exploration and production company focused on aggregating and responsibly developing operated inventory in the Permian Basin through its growth strategy focused on operated and non-operated leasehold acquisitions and strategic partnerships across the Permian.

Latham & Watkins LLP represented Post Oak in the transaction with a Houston-based team led by partner James Garrett, with associate Kevin Donovan. Advice was also provided on tax matters by Houston partner Jim Cole, with associate Dylan White; and on benefits and compensation matters by Houston counsel Krisa Benskin.
