Latham & Watkins Advises Vickery Energy Partners in Its Partnership With Quantum Capital Group

Firm represents the newly formed oil and gas exploration company in the transaction.
Quantum Capital Group (Quantum) and Vickery Energy Partners, LLC (Vickery or Company) announced the formation of Vickery with equity capital commitments from Quantum and employees of the Company. Based in Fort Worth, Texas, Vickery will pursue the acquisition and development of oil and gas assets across North America, with an initial focus on the Appalachian Basin.
Latham & Watkins LLP represented Vickery in the transaction with a corporate deal team led by Houston partner James Garrett, with associates John Daywalt and David Lee. Advice was also provided on tax matters by Houston partner Jim Cole, with associate Dylan White; and on compensation and benefits matters by Washington, D.C. partner Adam Kestenbaum.
