Latham & Watkins Advises Vital Energy in Acquisition of Upstream Oil and Gas Assets

Vital Energy, Inc. (NYSE: VTLE) (Vital Energy or the Company) has announced the second acquisition of additional working interests in producing assets associated with the recent asset acquisition from Henry Energy LP, Moriah Henry Partners LLC, and Henry Resources LLC (collectively Henry) for total consideration of approximately US$78 million.

Latham & Watkins LLP represented Vital Energy in the transaction with a corporate deal team led by Houston partners Stephen Szalkowski and John Greer, with associates Cesar Leyva, Robert Cunningham, and Justin Reinking. Advice was also provided on tax matters by Houston partner Jim Cole, with associate Dylan White; and on antitrust matters by Washington, D.C. partner Jason Cruise and Washington, D.C. counsel Peter Todaro.
