Pro Bono Client Lauds Latham

A group of lawyers in our New York office was recently recognized by Center for Family Life in Sunset Park, a pro bono client in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. This nonprofit offers family and social services to the community. Our lawyers helped the nonprofit negotiate two new loan agreements.

Since 1978, CFL has provided resources to families, including counseling and neighborhood-based foster care; cultural, educational, and recreational programs at neighborhood public schools; and adult and youth employment programs. CFL actively works to combat poverty and social inequity, with an emphasis on helping children grow into confident, capable adults.

The Latham team advising on the financing included partner Scott Ollivierre; counsel Seniz Yakut; and associates Louis Quagliato, Michael Wright, and Thomas Fafara, with advice on tax matters provided by partner Bora Bozkurt and associates Aaron Bernstein and Michael Syku.
