Casey Kirk is an associate in the San Diego office of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. Kirk represents clients in a wide range of environmental and land-use matters, including obtaining and defending government permits and approvals for major infrastructure and new development, advising on regulatory compliance and transactions, and defending clients in complex environmental litigation. She has a particular focus on the energy sector and has represented energy industry clients on a variety of matters involving conventional, renewable, and transformational energy projects.

Ms. Kirk received her law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she attended as a Dean’s Honor Scholar. While attending law school, Ms. Kirk was a member of the San Diego Law Review, president of the Environmental Law Society, and a judicial extern for the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
