Charlotte Hamaide is an associate in the Paris office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Global Antitrust & Competition Practice.

Ms. Hamaide focuses on all aspects of EU and French competition and regulatory law. She represents international companies before the European Commission (EC) and the French Competition Authority (FCA) in merger control proceedings, cartel and abuse of dominance investigations, and foreign subsidies. She coordinates multijurisdictional merger filings for global transactions.

Prior to joining Latham, Ms. Hamaide worked as an associate at an international law firm in Paris for three years. Ms. Hamaide also interned at several international law firms, the European Commission’s Directorate General for Competition, and TotalEnergies.

  • An automobile manufacturer in connection with the establishment of a full-function joint venture with an electronic component supplier* 

Antitrust Investigations and Litigation

  • Nestlé in an investigation by the French Competition Authority as well as in the appeal proceeding before the Paris’ Court of Appeal*
