Charlotte Hoggarth is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. Hoggarth represents private equity sponsors, corporate borrowers, banks, and other financial institutions across a broad range of finance transactions, with a particular focus on complex cross-border leveraged and acquisition financings, bridge financings, refinancings, restructuring, and other secured lending transactions.

Ms. Hoggarth maintains an active pro bono practice, representing the victims of miscarriages of justice arising from the courts of England and Wales (most notably Andy Malkinson), survivors of domestic violence, and individuals seeking asylum in partnership with Afghan Safe Passage and Refuge Initiative.

  • AtlasEdge on a scalable €725 million loan financing, underwritten by mandated lead arranger ING Bank, as well as ABN Amro, Crédit Agricole CIB, The Bank of Nova Scotia, National Westminster Bank Plc, Banco Santander, and UniCredit Bank AG*
  • Intermediate Capital Group on its investment in Travel Chapter, supporting the sale of the company to its management team from private equity firm ECI Partners*
  • Partners Group on its programmatic joint venture with Host Student Housing to build up a £1 billion UK purpose-built student accommodation and co-living platform, and on the joint venture’s first acquisition of a four-asset seed portfolio*
  • Francisco Partners on its £175 million acquisition of AIM Quoted Blancco Technology*
  • Bridgepoint on the agreement of Bridgepoint Development Capital IV, making a majority investment in SK AeroSafety Group*
  • Liberty Servicios Fijos LY (formerly known as Cabletica), a subsidiary of Liberty Latin America, on a US$450 million financing package provided by IDB Invest*
