    Profile

    Fernando Quintana is an associate in the Corporate Department of the Madrid office of Latham & Watkins. 

    Mr. Quintana advises national and international clients from different industries on general corporate matters, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, and capital markets transactions. 

    Mr. Quintana spent time on secondment to the investment banking and capital markets division of Credit Suisse, where he advised on a variety of corporate legal matters.

    Experience

    Mr. Quintana’s experience includes advising: 

    • TA Associates on the acquisition of the esPublico group, a Spanish group of companies that develop legal and economic content platforms
    • Opdenergy, an independent renewable energy producer focused on solar photovoltaic and wind energy technologies, on its debut on the First Market of the Spanish Stock Exchange
    • Archimed on the acquisition of Suanfarma, a Spanish company specializing in the development, production, and marketing of pharmaceutical and nutritional ingredients
    • Cathay Innovation and Seaya on their investment in the Series A financing round of PayFlow
