Jack DeMeulenaere is an associate in Latham & Watkins' Chicago office and a member of the firm's Corporate Department.

Jack represents public and private companies, as well as private equity firms and their portfolio companies, in mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, cross-border transactions, take-private transactions, divestitures, and venture capital and other growth-based investments. He also advises on restructurings and related corporate governance matters.

Prior to joining Latham, Jack worked in politics and government as a political staffer on statewide campaigns in Illinois, as an aide in the US Senate, and as the legislative affairs director for the Illinois Tollway.
