    Roberto Muñoz represents clients in complex litigation and arbitration proceedings concerning Spanish and cross-border disputes. 

    Roberto draws on his global perspective and business-oriented approach to represent Spanish and international clients in their highest stakes litigation at all levels of the Spanish courts and in arbitrations conducted under the main institutional arbitration rules, including ICC, CIMA, CAM, TAM, SCC, and NAI. He regularly helps clients navigate disputes involving:

    • A German multinational in a claim filed by a US holding, based on the termination of negotiations concerning a potential acquisition of a group of companies located in Spain
    • A leading US fund in a dispute against the buyer of a servicing company in relation to an earn-out and the breach of the representation and warranties foreseen in the share sale and purchase agreement (SPA)
    • A global investment fund in connection to its acquisition of a €4.2 billion real estate owned (REO) portfolio from a leading Spanish bank

    • A pharmaceutical conglomerate in arbitration proceedings against a US corporation regarding the potential breach of a multimillion-dollar licensing agreement

    • A leading US fund in the first successful judicial implementation in Spain of a creditors’ restructuring plan with a value exceeding €2 billion
