Shaza Loutfi is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins, having previously worked in Latham’s Dubai office. Ms. Loutfi advises on a range of banking, corporate, and sanctions & export controls matters.

Ms. Loutfi maintains an active pro bono practice and, among several other immigration matters, serves as a coordinator of the Mina’s List program, which helps female former members of the Afghan Parliament seek refugee status in the United States.

Prior to joining Latham, Ms. Loutfi was a consultant to various UN agencies and international NGOs. During law school, Ms. Loutfi published in the Harvard Human Rights Journal and was awarded the Center on the Legal Profession’s Paper Prize.
