Terris Tang advises clients on capital markets transactions and investments across Asia and globally, particularly with a China nexus.

Terris draws on nearly two decades of experience and a sophisticated understanding of Hong Kong securities laws and regulations to guide corporations, private equity firms, and financial institutions on:

  • Corporate restructurings
  • General compliance matters

Having worked in Beijing, Hong Kong, and London, he brings a global perspective to each corporate finance transaction. He represents companies on their transformational cross-border transactions — from IPOs to strategic inbound and outbound investments — in a broad range of sectors, including life sciences, technology, and logistics and mobility.

A recognized leader at the firm, Terris serves on the Associates Committee and Opinions Committee. He previously served on the Recruiting Committee and the Legal Professionals & Paralegals Committee.

Terris maintains an active pro bono practice, including advising nonprofits on corporate governance matters and obtaining charity status.
