    Xavier Nassoy advises private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, financial investors, sovereign wealth funds, venture capital firms, and private companies on private corporate transactions across a broad range of industries.

    Xavier leverages a keen business acumen to help navigate complex cross-border transactions with a French nexus, including:

    • Leveraged buyouts (LBOs)
    • Mergers and acquisitions
    • Venture capital 
    • Joint ventures
    • Majority/minority investments

    He draws on a comprehensive understanding of clients’ objectives and his knowledge of French law to guide them across the transactional life cycle.

    Xavier maintains an active pro bono practice, including advising Live for Good, a French non-profit focused on social entrepreneurship and accelerating positive innovation.

    Leveraged Buyouts

    • Bridgepoint in the sale of Kereis, a European leader in multi-channel insurance brokerage, to Advent
    • Astorg on acquiring Solina, a leading European manufacturer of ingredient and seasoning blends for the food industry, from Ardian
    • Bridgepoint on acquiring CEP, a leading European protection insurance broker
    • KKR and the founders of Webhelp, one of the world’s leading providers of customer experience and business process outsourcing (BPO), in the €2.4 billion sale of the company to Groupe Bruxelles Lambert and the reinvestment of the founders and the management in the newly created structure alongside Groupe Bruxelles Lambert

    Mergers and Acquisitions

    • ZEPLUG, a leading European provider of electric vehicle charging services in multi-occupant and office buildings, on its €240 million fundraising and acquisition of Bornes Solutions
    • Vivalto Santé, the third-leading group of private hospitals in France, in its acquisition by Vivalto Partners alongside a consortium of minority shareholders

    Venture Capital

    • a16z on the €1.7 billion Series C funding round of Mistral AI, a French startup specializing in generative artificial intelligence
    • PSP Investments in its reinvestment in Ceva Santé Animale (Ceva), the world’s fifth-largest animal health and wellbeing company
    • Coatue Management on the €173 million Series F financing round of Alan, a leading independent digital health insurance provider in France
    • A global medical device leader on the US$50 million Series D financing round of TriCares, a French medtech startup 
    • Lead investor a16z (Andreessen Horowitz) on the €385 million Series A financing round of Mistral AI, a French startup specializing in generative artificial intelligence
    • Tencent on its minority investment in Voodoo, the world leader in hyper-casual games
    • Unicorn investor Dragoneer on the US$355 million fundraising for ManoMano, France’s largest independent e-commerce site
    • Tencent in its minority investment in Alma, completed as part of the company’s €115 million Series C round
