Yun Cao is a finance associate in the Hong Kong office of Latham & Watkins. Yun advises financial institutions, private equity sponsors, and corporations on a wide range of cross-border financing transactions, including acquisition/leveraged financings, special situation debt investments, and syndicated corporate financings.

Yun’s experience includes advising:

  • I Squared Capital on the financing for the acquisition of Philippine Coastal Storage & Pipeline Corp, the largest independent import terminal in the Philippines, from Keppel Infrastructure Trust and Metro Pacific Investments Corporation
  • Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board on the financing for its inaugural investment into India – the acquisition of Sahyadri Hospitals Group, an India-based private hospital chain
  • EQT on a historic financing in connection with the acquisition by EQT Infrastructure of Integrated Clinical Oncology Network Pty Ltd (Icon Group), Australia’s largest vertically integrated cancer care provider, from a consortium including Goldman Sachs Asset Management, QIC Private Capital Pty Ltd, and Pagoda Investment Advisors; the deal marks the largest-ever all-Australian dollar Term Loan B (TLB) financing on record and the first TLB in Australia to exceed A$1 billion
  • Advantage Partners on a leveraged financing of major investment in a Philippine-based information and communications technology solutions provider Micro-D International, Inc.*

  • Ping An Bank and China CITIC Bank on a term loan facility for the acquisition of Wall Street English by CITIC Capital and Baring Private Equity Asia*
  • China Merchants Bank on term loan facility for acquisition of approximately 50.75% shares of a Hong Kong listed company by Hony Capital*
  • Bank of China and China Merchants Bank on onshore and offshore multi-tranche facilities (with SBLC structure) for the acquisition of 50% stake in a mining company in Argentina by a PRC stated-owned enterprise (listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange)*
