Alex Park is an associate in the Seoul office of Latham & Watkins.
Alex's practice focuses on a variety of corporate matters, including technology, data privacy, cybersecurity, telecommunications, intellectual property, and regulatory matters.
Alex's experience includes assisting in the representation of clients in relation to cross-border data privacy compliance, with a focus on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the French Data Protection Act, and data protection laws in the APAC region.
Alongside data privacy, Alex also has experience assisting in the representation of clients in relation to regulatory compliance issues relating to telecommunications, e-commence, information technology, and cybersecurity. She also assists in matters in relation to commercial law, intellectual property, and on M&A transactions, as well as blockchain and NFT-related matters.
Alex's clients spans various sectors, with a principal focus on technology, mobility, gaming, telecommunications, entertainment, and fintech.
Prior to joining Latham, Alex worked at an international law firm as an associate, focusing on IP/IT and data and as a legal officer in an international non-governmental organization, researching and managing advocacy strategies related to new technologies, privacy, and freedom of expression, and leading their UN advocacy program.
Alex is qualified to practice as an Avocat in Paris and before the New York Bar. She is not registered as a Foreign Legal Consultant in Korea.
