Takatomo Terasaki is an associate in the Corporate Department of Latham & Watkins Gaikokuho Joint Enterprise. He advises clients on a broad range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, general corporate, corporate governance and security regulations, as well as ESG and sustainability-related legal service matters.

Prior to joining Latham, Takatomo worked in one of the largest law firms in Japan and the Tokyo office of another leading international law firm. He is a member of the Dai-Ni Tokyo Bar Association in Japan.

  • British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI), as part of a global leading infrastructure investors consortium led by Macquarie Asset Management, on the raise of ¥150 billion to ¥300 billion (US$1-2 billion) in funds for the sale and leaseback of a portion of Rakuten Mobile’s mobile network assets
  • Warburg Pincus on the joint venture with Lendlease's life science business in Asia to launch a specialist real estate platform capitalizing on the growing life sciences sector in Asia Pacific
  • Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. on multiple repurchases of shares with an aggregate value of approximately ¥180 billion from Renault S.A. that were being held in trust by Natixis S.A. in connection with the parties’ rebalanced and restructured alliance
