Matthew Snyder is an associate in the Boston office of Latham & Watkins.

Matthew represents emerging growth and established companies across a range of sectors, with a particular focus on complex technology transactions, AI and machine learning, and SaaS and other “as a service” offerings.

Matthew regularly advises clients with respect to complex acquisition, licensing, and development arrangements within the technology space, including:

  • Datacenter and AI computing arrangements
  • Technology and intellectual property acquisitions
  • Strategic alliances and joint ventures
  • Intellectual property licensing
  • Information technology and business process outsourcing
  • Development, manufacturing, supply, and commercialization agreements

Prior to joining the firm, Matthew worked for an international law firm in Toronto, Canada and a Fortune 500 aviation company.

Matthew's experience includes advising: 

  • Voyager Space on a joint venture to design, build, and operate the Starlab commercial space station
  • AAR in the acquisition of Triumph Group's product support business
  • Astera Institute on its investment in Imbue, an emerging AI company
  • Trustmark on the sale of its health benefits business to Health Care Service Corporation
  • Stride Consumer Partners in its Series B investment in Serenity Kids
  • An AI computing company on the establishment of its AI compute business
  • A major transportation company in the procurement and implementation of a computer-aided dispatch and vehicle location system*
