Peter Neuböck is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins with a focus on international capital markets transactions and securities regulation.

Peter advises corporate (in various industries), sponsor, and investment banking clients on public and private offerings of debt securities, acquisition financings, sustainable finance (including green bonds and sustainability-linked bonds), and liability management transactions, with a particular emphasis on issuances of high yield debt securities.

Peter is a member of Latham & Watkins’ global Sustainable Finance Working Group and is an active participant in several working groups with the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME) and the International Capital Markets Association (ICMA).

Prior to earning his LL.M at Columbia University School of Law, Peter completed a traineeship at the European Commission in Brussels.

Peter's experience includes advising:

  • Triton/Kelvion Group in connection with its offering of €475 million senior secured floating rate notes due 2029 
  • HSBC as sole dealer manager and sole purchase agent in connection with multiple and simultaneous tender offers, structured as unmodified Dutch auctions, and a concurrent term loan solicitation by certain group entities of Morrisons, a leading grocery retailer in the UK. The liability management transaction resulted in an aggregate principal amount of approximately £1 billion (equivalent) of indebtedness being repurchased 
  • The initial purchasers in connection with several notes issuances by BMW in excess of US$9.95 billion
  • The underwriters, led by Barclays Bank PLC, as sole structuring advisor and sole green structuring advisor, together with Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) Nikko Capital Markets as joint lead managers, on sustainable finance matters in connection with a £600 million data center securitization for Vantage Data Centers 
  • The underwriters in several issuances of green data center notes in the United States
  • Host Hotels & Resorts, Inc. (NASDAQ: HST), on sustainable finance matters, in connection with its US$600 million green bond offering
  • The initial purchasers, led by J.P. Morgan, in connection with ZF Friedrichshafen’s issuance of US$800 million green notes due 2030 and US$700 million green notes due 2032
  • Leonard Green & Partners/Pure Gym in connection with its offering of €380,000,000 senior secured notes due and £475,000,000 senior secured notes due 2028
  • Permira/CABB Group in connection with its offering of €250 million senior secured floating rate notes due 2028 and €420 million senior secured notes due 2028
  • Deutsche Bank as sole dealer manager, in the multiple and simultaneous tender offers (structured as unmodified Dutch auctions) completed by Softbank, a leading technology company, in respect of 16 series of its then outstanding NY law-governed senior notes and its English law-governed Undated Subordinated NC6 Resettable Notes
  • Triton/RENK Group on several bond offerings with a total volume of €520 million
  • The initial purchasers on the issuance of US$525 million senior notes due 2028 and €250 million senior notes due 2028 by Consolidated Energy
  • TUI Cruises GmbH on several bond offerings with a total volume of €523.5 million
  • Grünenthal GmbH on several bond offerings with a total volume of € 1.45 billion
  • DIC Asset AG in connection with its €400 million green bond offering
  • Ceconomy AG in connection with its offering of €500 million senior notes due 2026
  • The initial purchasers on the issuance of €300 million sustainability-linked senior notes due 2028 by Hapag-Lloyd
  • The initial purchasers on several bond offerings by Wepa Hygieneprodukte GmbH with total volume of €600 million
  • Peach Property Group on several bond offerings with a total volume of €550 million
